OliveBurn & Medication Interactions: What To Ask Your Doctor
Several OliveBurn ingredients can interact with blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid and blood-thinning medication.
A natural, liquid formula is not automatically free of interactions.
Olive leaf extract: blood pressure and blood sugar
Olive leaf extract may lower blood pressure and blood sugar. If you take blood pressure or diabetes medication, the combined effect could be larger than intended, so tell your doctor or pharmacist before starting.
L-Carnitine: thyroid hormone and blood thinners
L-Carnitine can reduce the effect of thyroid hormone medication and has been reported to enhance some blood thinners such as acenocoumarol. People with thyroid conditions or on anticoagulants should ask first.
Green tea polyphenols: caffeine and the liver
Green tea extracts may contain some natural caffeine, and concentrated extracts have been linked to rare cases of liver injury, usually at high doses. OliveBurn does not state its amount.
Who should be especially careful
Anyone pregnant, nursing, under 18, or on prescription medication should consult a doctor. Bring the full ingredient list from our ingredients page.
